Covid-19 Latest
Like most organisations we’re following the latest guidance to protect and support our staff, our users and the public. The risks Covid-19 pose to everyone are real and we must do all we can to minimise the spread of the virus.
As a result, we’ve closed our office to the public, and all activities from the Blue Hut and the Damilola Taylor Centre will be run virtually to mitigate the risks of Covid-19. Most staff are working remotely so you can still contact us by email. We’re also making sure there are some staff locally who are able to help people with immediate issues.
We’re doing all that we can to support our young people, their families and other vulnerable members of the community. This includes putting care packages together that we are delivering to people, offering phone and online support to people who have had to isolate, and developing an online youth work offer.
Our aim is to support the community as best as we can. We can be agile and will adapt what we can offer as the situation changes. We will also keep our website and social media handles updated with the latest developments.
Please make sure you follow the latest advice given, stay safe and do what you can to help your family and neighbours. This is a time for society to pull together. If you have an idea of anything you want to do to help, need our support, or are able to volunteer please get in touch.
